"Scream: The TV Series" first aired in the summer of 2015 on MTV bringing this beloved slasher franchise from the mid90s to the small screen. "You can't do a slasher movie as a TV series" said Noah Foster (John Karna) in the first season of the show. To some, Noah's meta monologue was perceived to be true as the show did not do so hot in the ratings but it grew a massive following which kept the series going the following year for season two. Eventually, the series came to a grinding halt as MTV ordered a third season of the show with six episodes and without the original cast or storyline. Out with the old, in with the new: let's take a look at what MTV has in store for us when Scream returns this fall.
PLOT:
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Atlanta, "Scream" features a brand new cast of characters destined to fall prey to the mysterious killer known as "Ghostface." The series centers on Deion Elliot, a local star running back whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for his future... and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.
